When more people learn about the benefits of being a Habitat home partner, the good news will spread to more folks who are in need of a decent home. Would you like to be a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity? What are the things you think you can do? Well, for starters, it would be marvelous if you will let more people know about our programs and encourage qualified home applicants to join our program. Consecration of new build site at Kionsom 19th May 2008

This is the land for our new Home Partners (David Baba and his wife Nancy Kilintong). It is located at Jalan Kionsom Lama, about half an hour from Kota Kinabalu. Habitat for Humanity Kota Kinabalu practices consecration and sanctification of the build site and land before commencement of building.

How to apply for a Habitat home

We constantly promote our program and inform the public to partner with us. Do you want to apply for a Habitat home? Would you like to know how? Well, we gave a talk at the Sabah State Library on 6th May 2008 on this subject. Picture shows President Allen Tong and our Board Member Ms Joanna Kitingan at the talk. During the talk, we highlighted how you too can play a part by informing deserving applicants to apply for our Home programs.
