9th June 2008: Seen in pix are (from left) Jonathan Boin (staff of Habitat for Humanity Kota Kinabalu), Darren Smith (teacher in charge of ISKL student volunteers) and Johan Amilin (Board Member of Habitat for Humanity and Chief Co-Ordinator of the ISKL group)awaiting the students to board the bus to the build site at Kampong Kiansom Lama, about half an hour from the city. The pick-up time is at 8.00 am at the Radius International Hotel, located at Warisan Square, KK. The feedback from the volunteers is that they find the location of the hotel very convenient, lots of restaurants and delicious food, and easy to buy and shop for things that they need during their stay.
